Lunar Eclipse

I was standing outside yesterday aware that the universe was about to experience a total Lunar Eclipse , also known as a “blood moon.” I was silently contemplating while sensing earth's energy encircling above and below. The air was crisp as the moon's light beamed downward.  A sensation of warmth touched my head from the crown inward.  At that moment I realized,  energy exists beyond man’s understanding and is felt only when the receiver is aware of inter-connection, inter-being, and equalization.

In the western skies stood the moon that was slowly transforming into a rusty red color.  At about 5:25AM the earth aligned between the sun and moon creating a red shadow upon the moonlight.

How do the energies interact in this event called the Lunar Eclipse?  What are the subtle queues and signs of alignment and realignment?  Though I do not have the scientific explanations regarding these questions, I could sense a powerful energy of connection.

The Balancing Act

There are times we do not understand the universal intentions and apparent energies of obstacles.  We may fight the universal energies because the obstacles trigger frustrations.  Eventually, we may realize it is a waste of time and energy to fight the flow and decide it is better to dance with it.  Dancing does not mean submission!

Let me expound upon this thought.

What is dance?  The dictionary defines dance as “moving rhythmically to music, typically following a set sequence of steps.”  When I think about the life force, I envision energy swirling around within my being and going outwardly into the universe. Such is the way of dancing.  When I relate to other people, I can sense this same phenomena; the energy of life (receiver and giver) feeding off each other and creating waves of connections beyond the physical.  In dance, it is all about physicality, unless of course, you sense.

When I say it is better to dance with the universal flow, I am referring to moving rhythmically.  The music associated with this universal flow is nature.  Nature’s music can be the birds, the wind, the silence, your intuition, and/or your eyes.  It is everything above and below— within and without.  This may seem abstract, but it is the way of nature.  Nature does not make sense to our logical intelligence (in the way we may think so) while our logical intelligence mimics nature.  In these moments, it is better to embrace the abstract of nature.

The physical realm of nature is beautiful and the spiritual realm of nature is mystical.  The mystics have said many times through, where your soul meets spirit’s light, the light gifts amazing vision.

What is your dance?  Here are some thoughts to contemplate:

Your steps are self-determined by deep roots of intuition and awareness; they are sequenced by your ability to sense, feel, and listen.  In concordance with nature, your intelligence will be and is abstract.  This is the creative power of spirit.  All of life’s energy center's upon deep intentions of the life-force thrusting into existence a sequence of powerful, and often times, misunderstood steps.  From seed to amazing flower, your life is abloom.

Will you dance or waste your time and energy fighting?  (Unpublished Works, 2014) Madeline A. Gouin

Power in the Now

The other day my daughter and I were in a dance store purchasing shoes and gear for dance class.  My daughter wondered off to the jewelry area where her heart connected to a necklace.  As I was paying for her dance-wear, she approached me with a natural spark, seemingly deep, with the necklace in her hands.  I could see my daughter identified with and related to something amazingly beautiful, aligned with her heart.

As a mother, I was busy.  Had I not been mindful, I may have missed an amazing teaching.  The minute we walked into the store, there stood universal intentions.  From the artisan who created the necklace to the store that selected it for purchase, from my daughter’s heartstrings, to my motherly awareness—the energy of inter-connection had aligned.  At that very moment, the universe provided an opportunity of growth about inner work and chakras.

As I was finishing up my purchase, the store clerk suggested to my daughter there was a smaller necklace just like the one she had chosen. She grabbed the necklace and placed it down on the counter before my daughter’s eyes. “This one is better.”

My daughter looked at it and then at me.“I don’t know which one to choose! Mommy, which one should I choose?”

I was still quiet (thinking) when the store clerk suggested once again, “The smaller necklace is better.”

“Ok,” my daughter responded, dismissing her inner power.

As the store clerk took the original necklace away, I became immensely aware. I was witnessing a very subtle form of disruption from the natural order of nature’s intelligence.  The store clerk, unknowingly disregarded my daughter’s intuitive nature.  Still silent, I realized the innocent intervention by the store clerk was an interruption to universal intentions and energies.

Something deep within me echoed, “Teach your daughter—affirm her inner power.  Your daughter chose the minute her heart danced.”

I firmly spoke up. “No, I think we will take the one my daughter picked out."

Many times, we allow others to persuade us to go a different direction, against our gifts.  We easily amplify others power, diminishing our own. (Unpublished Works, 2014) Madeline Gouin

Pebble Meditation

We are participants in the wave of universal energies. We are emotions, intelligence, physicality, soul, and senses. We are as powerful as the sun and as delicate as a tiny creature.  We are inter-dependent: our earth, sky, and inhabitants of life helps us to live.

May we bring forward our intentions of respect.

Pebbles are the result of nature's intelligence. They are a great tool to help ground our individual energies.  As simple as it may seem, there is profound connection available.  The ceremonious or mindful act of selecting pebbles can be the "water current" of intentions. The heartfelt intentions (thoughtfully embraced, while holding these pebbles), can provide awareness and connection.  Breathing deeply, you may realize (and eventually recognize) earth mother and spirit are one. In this realization, you open the gates to the ethereal reality of the present moment.

Thich Nhat Hanh, a practitioner of mindfulness, provides us a very simple tool to engage breath!  It is called, "Pebble Meditation." When you are overwhelmed with the negative, try to utilize this meditation technique. (Unpublished Works, 2014) Madeline A. Gouin

Nature's Intelligence

Stones (pebbles) are created from the elements of earth, water, air, and fire.  Their properties are intricately formed and intelligently designed by the forces of nature. The natural processes of stone formation are similar in characteristic to what Simon G. Powell refers to as natural intelligence. If you think about it, stones are part of the ecosystem.  Just as any life-force, there has to be geological intelligence (similar to the processes of photosynthesis) within nature itself.

The forces of nature, also known as the four fundamental forces of the universe, are always feeding off each other (which I call a rebound affect), where there is a continuous motion of energy being created, utilized, and recycled. You might say energy is the heartbeat of nature’s processes, while movement is the nucleus of nature’s form.

The elements of earth, water, air, and fire are consistently absorbed within the universe and transformed into energy. Some of the by-products of this energy absorption and transformation are beautiful landscapes, habitats, stones (pebbles), sand, among other things.

The human body is also an amazing energy-force that is self-determined. This amazing energy-force is known as the body's energy-center, also referred to as one’s chakras.  These chakras contain the DNA of earth’s energy, while earth’s energy contains the DNA of the chakras. In essence, humans and earth contain similar energetic processes by which they rely intricately, upon each other.

Now that I have introduced you to energy and evolutionary theories surrounding natural intelligence, you may wonder, what is the correlation between stones (pebbles), intuitive art, and nature’s intellect?

First off, stones (pebbles) are energy matter developed by creative phenomena.  Their existence is centered within energy fields containing the DNA of nature’s intelligence, known as universal energy.  Earthquakes are a great example of how stones (pebbles) are created.  For instance, when an earthquake develops there is an intense magnetic shift within the earthen rocks that produces magnetic waves. When these magnetic waves produce movement, the earth shakes.  Through this movement stones surface to the earth. Just as the creative phenomena of a lightning strike brings balance to the earth’s energy, so too, an earthquake shifts and realigns itself. In essence, earth uses its own power of magnetism within a force-field to realign and rebalance amidst disturbance.

Second, intuitive art is expressed in abstract form and is the definitive expression of ethereal nature. It is perception beyond the physical realm into the mystic universe.  The mysteries of the universe are the interactions, connections, interdependencies, and interconnections between life and the forces of nature. Thus, intuitive art becomes intelligence within form and presents itself in abstract ways.  It can be expressed through symbols, words, dance, or other forms of expression. This abstract expression can be the reincarnate of truth, a rebirth of identity or concept, a metamorphosis of consciousness, and/or an eventual transformation of experience.  Ultimately, intuitive art teaches.  It is the mirror of an artist’s soul in communion with energy and nature.  Like energy, intuitive art mirrors reality in abstract ways, outwardly and inwardly.

Third, in my previous post titled, "The Song of Healing," I provided a powerful, yet simple truth about a pebble that helped ground me when I experienced nature's intelligence in concession with earth energy. From this experience, I now realize pebbles are a conduit of grounding and healing energy.

If natural intelligence is a self-forming intelligence, as Powell suggests, then there must be some truth to the earth’s natural ability to heal and stabilize using its own intelligence. Since humans are part of the earth’s ecosystem, it would make logical sense that we too, are one with nature. Yet, as Powell goes on to state, “There is an intelligence in nature many have failed to see.”  (Unpublished Works, 2014)  Madeline A. Gouin

The Song of Healing

Sounds vibrate throughout the universe touching the heart. ~ Madeline Gouin

I was about six years old when I was outside playing and discovering the elements of earth. In my hand was a pebble. Standing silently, one with earth, a little bird sang. Within my soul, a vibration of serenity and peace was undeniably, felt. This sensation was so intense (so profound) the sound’s vibration encircled my being and entered into my core. My energy center (chakra center) was opened and the bird’s song became one with my spirit; I touched bliss.

As a little girl I accepted without question the blessing—earth mother gave a beautiful gift of love.

Now, as in yesterday, when I hear this bird sing I recognize the song and the vibration. This bird's song reminds me of my spiritual place—my home within the heart. As for the pebble? The pebble was a necessary earth element used to ground me as I touched bliss. The elements of this pebble became a conduit of energy whose purpose was to open my root chakra so I could then receive the song of healing and the vibrations of balance, harmony, and peace.
